Gosh Velvet Touch Lipstick Collection Swatches and Review

(0,1oz./4g) Gosh cosmetics is my top favorite drug store brand. Their lipsticks and mascaras are amazing. Today I'm going to review all the lipstick shades that I have from them. I have 8 and the other colors from the collection didn't look wearable to me, they are either too light or too metallic. They also have a couple of red shades which some people might be looking for. They all have a vanilla scent just like Mac lipsticks. Their formula and lasting power is very similar to MAC Amplified lipsticks.

MAC Amplified Lipstick in Fast Play & Matte Lipstick in Mehr Review and Swatches

(0,10oz./2,8g - 17USD) I have a new MAC haul with 6 gorgeous lipsticks,today I'm going to review 2 of those.
       Fast Play has an Amplified finish, so as you can see from the pictures above it has a semi glossy finish and is intensely pigmented. The shade is retro type brown but with a pink hue. I'm so in to pinkish browns lately, could be considered as nude for some skin tones, though.
       Mehr is a Matte, looks velvety on the lips. This is such a Kylie Jenner nude brown. Mehr is very similar to fast play but a tad bit deeper and of course, matte.

Mac Fast Play ve Mehr ruj birbirine çok benzeyen tonlarda ama Mehr mat Fast Play ise ıslak görünümde. Mac rujlar, özellikle de Satin, Amplified ve Matte olanlar beni hiç bir zaman yanıltmıyor. Kapatıcılık ve özellikle kalıcılık açısından vazgeçilmez rujlarım arasındalar. Bu iki ruj biraz koyu olduğu için kullanması zor gözükse de gece ve gündüz makyajı çok uygun renkler.

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 600 Nude Eclipse, 101 Celestial & 303 Apocaliptic Review and Swatches

       (0,18oz./5,5g) The idea behind these lip glosses are, they are fluid lipsticks. They have the sheen and precise application of a lipgloss and they have the full coverage of a lipstick but they don't have any staying power. So you shouldn't mind touching up while wearing these. I find that because the application is very precise, it's not mistake proof so it makes it more difficult to apply than a regular lipstick. Apocalips lip glosses all have a creamy finish with a light weight texture. Overall I'm iffy about lip creams in general, I don't get the idea behind it, why would I want my lipstick to last shorter?
       It's not hard to find inexpensive but high quality make up these days. Rimmel London products in general is one of the best when it comes to drugstore brands. So let's get on to reviewing each color.
       600 Nude Eclipse is basically a concealer color in a lip gloss form, It's too light for my skin tone because it cancels out my lips. It's nude and even too nude, you need to be very fair skinned for this one.
       101 Celestial is my favorite, this is the only one that I actualy used in my daily life, it's more forgiving when it comes to wearing off because it's the closest to my lip color.
       303 Apocaliptic is in your face, bright and even neon reddish pink. As you can see on the pictures above it was the hardest to get a nice line around your lips because there is no place for errors with this one. It bleeds in no time just like the other two, but Apocaliptic will show the bleeding the most.

Mac Satin Lipstick in Brave & Faux Review and Swatches

(0.10oz./2.8g - 17USD) No matter how boring is the Mac Cosmetics packaging, I can never seem to give up on using them. Mac eyeshadow, lipsticks and blushes will always have a place in my heart and soul. These two gorgeous lipsticks have the same finish, which is Satin, so they are intensely pigmented and semi-matte. Both shades are wearable everyday colors. They both look nude and a strong eye makeup such as smokey eye look would compliment these lips a lot. These are perfect nudes for fall, deeper and more brown hued. I think if you have one you don't need the other shade because they are very similar. For darker skin tones I would suggest Brave because Faux might look too Nicki Minaj like. 

Brave is deeper than Faux, it's a mauve with a hint of beige. It looks a bit frosty due to the white shimmers that it has.

Faux is more of a pinky mauve, it has a creamy finish.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in 630 Velvet Beige Review and Swatches

(0,15oz./4,25g - 7,49USD) Another Color Sensational but you need to know that this lipstick has a strong unpleasent smell. It's different and stronger than other Color Sensationals. The color is a caramel leans more on the brown side, it has no shimmers but has a glossy finish. I love the shade it looks so retro and different.

Türkiye'de bir çok kozmetik mağazasında bulabileceğiniz bir ürün, rengi mükemmel, çok farklı duruyor. Pembelerden ve bejlerden sıkıldıysanız bence bu rengi test edebilirsiniz. Biraz olgun bir renk olabilir ama değişiklik güzel. Maalesef Maybelline Color Sensational ruj serisinin en kötü özelliği dayanılmaz kokuları. Eskiden sadece plastik gibi kokardı, şimdi sanırım o kokuyu parfümle örtmeye çalışmışlar ve daha kötü bir sonuç çıkmış ortaya.

Milani Color Statement Lipstick in 26 Nude Créme & 25 Naturally Chic Review and Swatches

(0,14oz./4g - 5,29USD) The formulation of Milani lipsticks are very high quality, they will stay put and won't move around and have an opaque coverage, they feel kind of stiff and hard to glide on but I guess that's what makes them stay put on your lips. Keep in mind that they have a strong fruity scent.

26 Nude Creme is a pinkish nude with a creamy finish.

25 Naturally Chic is a caramel nude, more reddish.

Milani Türkiye'de satılıyor mu bilmiyorum ama instagramda Milani rujları satan yerler bulabilirsiniz. Tabi Amerika fiyatından çok farklılar. Açık cilt tonları için Nude Creme, koyu cilt tonları içinse Naturally Chic denemeye değer. Yapıları biraz sert ama kalıcılık açısından çok iyiler. 

NYC City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color in 011 Brooklyn Brown Stone Review and Swatches

By looking at the picture you can see how gorgeous that lipstick is. It's buttery smooth and intensely pigmented. Brooklyn Brown Stone has a creamy finish, you'll have an even color with this one which is a nude but more muted caramel like. It's more reddish than your regular skin toned nudes.

NYC Watsons Türkiye'de bulabileceğiniz çok hesaplı bir marka, göz farlarının kalitelerinden emin değilim ama bu kalem rujlar ve diğer keçeli kalem tarzı rujları çok kaliteli. Brooklyn Brown Stone rengi kremsi yapıda ve karamel tonlarında. 

BeYu Cosmetics Star Lipstick in 33 Nude Rosa Review and Swatches

       (4g/0,14oz.) I've recently discovered this brand and fell in love with their lipsticks immediately. Even though this is a budget friendly brand, their lipstick packaging is rather heavy and looks sleek. I can't say the same with their eye shadows though, they look cheap and plastic, that's why I haven't purchased any yet.
       All Beyu Star lipsticks have hydrating and nourishing formula. But not all of them are highly pigmented. Nude Rosa is almost opaque but I got another shade which was too sheer that I gave it to a friend. 33 Nude Rosa is a nude with slightly rosey tint.
I'm surprised at how hard it is to find a swatch or even a photo of any Beyu product. Even their makeup line is hard to come by.

Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in 38 Luminous Review and Swatches

(0,12oz. - 3,40g - 34USD) Luminous has a very sheer base and has tons of golden micro shimmers. You can feel the luxury of Chanel in this sleek packaging. Formula is also nice, feels nourishing but overall this shade is just too sheer for my taste.

Mac Matte Lipstick in Kinda Sexy Review and Swatches

(0.10oz./2.8g - 14,50USD) Kinda sexy is a caramel color, it's a nice nude lipstick for medium skin tones. It's utterly pigmented and very matte. If you want it to be more matte you can just blot it with a tissue paper.

Mac Lustre Lipstick in Freckletone Review and Swatches

(0.10oz./2.8g - 15USD) This isn't a flattering shade for in my opinion because it has too much brown in it, I feel like browns on lips can make you look older and old fashioned. It doesn't have much pigmentation, goes on sheer, that's the other downside to me.

Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in Shy Girl Review and Swatches

(0.10oz./2.8g - 15USD) Shy Girl is one of my favorite nude lipsticks, I love the lovely peachy nude shade of it and I love the sublte pearls in it. This is the kind of nude if you are going for alive, not dead look.

Mac Satin Lipstick in Myth Review and Swatches

(0.10oz./2.8g - 15USD) Omg! This shade is SO pale, I don't know what was I thinking when purchasing it. It's like a peachy concealer color that I would use on my under eye circles, it's that light! You need to be very very pale to pull off myth unless you want a white mouth. But layering a darker lipgloss over makes it wearable or I sometimes use it to lighten lipsticks.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss 2012 2013 Matte Velvet Lipstick Collection Review and Swatches

I just got 4 lipsticks from Rimmel London Kate Moss Winter 2012 2013 lipstick collection, there a lot of different shades this time, around 10. All have velvet finish not entirely matte, it's the exact same formula and finish of Rimmel London's Color Show Off Lipsticks, which I love. 102: Soft pink/ bubble gum pink.
106: Deep reddish pink, looks almost red under yellow light.
107: My favorite out of the entire collection, a maroon that looks berry under day light.
113: A very pale nude, this just cancelles out my lips far too much.

Dolce & Gabbana Shine Lipstick in 145 Baby Darling Review and Swatches

I love D&G make up range, so sleek and elegant with the gold packaging and the product quality. I have this shine lipstick, goes on quite sheer yet buildable. It's not one those YSL buttery lipsticks, a lot harder in consistency but not heavy. Baby darling is a pearly and shimmery pink nude.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick SPF 15 in #1 Nude Beige

(4g/0,14oz. - 34USD) I fancy this luxurious packaging and the pigmentation of this lipstick yet the formula is not good at all, it's very light weight and not long lasting. And my lips feel dry after wearing it a couple hours. Rouge Voluptes has around 30 different shades which are all creamy finished with subtle glossiness.

Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in 720 Nothing Hill Nude Review and Swatches

Nothing Hill Nude is a soft toffee colored lipstick, a cool undertoned nude which has a creamy finish. It's rich in pigmentation, buildable up to an opaque finish. The only thing I hate it's drying, I've seen worse but this is not good either.

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick in 1 Matte Flesh Review and Swatches

(0.12oz./3.4g - 19USD) This one is not a flesh toned lipstick to me, more brown than that. It's such richly pigmented that you get an entirely opaque coverage. I've used mat lipsticks before but I've never seen this mat before. Imagine that you apply a lipliner all over your lips, it has the exact same feeling and finish. It's so mat and dry that it's impossible to glide on your lips, it tugs so severely. So I'm not really sure about this one.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture in #6 Rose Bergamasque Review and Swatches

(0.13oz./3.8g - 32USD) YSL always has an amazing choice of shades when it comes to lipsticks. Rouge pur couture collection has almost 30 different shades. All of them have creamy finish and semi-opaque coverage. For #6 Rose Bergamasque even though it's a nude color it's still hard to get an even coverage and it slips, moves towards to the edges of my lips throughout the day, so I'm not a fan of the formula. I love the design of the case but it gets messy easily.

Mac Pro Longwear Lip Creme in To The Future! Review and Swatches

(0.12oz./3.4g - 17USD) I have been using this lipstick religiously for months and it's my second tube already. My all time favorite nude lipstick used to be Shiseido's BE208 Dune but now it's To The Future!. The main reason is the staying power, it's not kiss-proof or anything but won't slip, fade for hours. I can just slap it on without worrying if it'll move or fade, very low maintenance. The second awesomeness about it, is the opacity, almost fully opaque with one swipe.
I must admit it has a tacky texture, like if you applied a lip pencil all over your lips. It's on the matte side but not very drying but not hydrating at all. And the color of it is just beautiful, peachy, orangey nude. I'd say give it a try if you have medium complexion with warm undertones.
