No7 Skin Illuminator Radiance Boosting Beauty Fluid Highlighter in Peach Review and Swatches

(1fl.oz./30ml) After seeing Lisa Eldrigde using this illuminator on Youtube for the 100th time, I decided I had to own it too. I have an oily skin and I never use highlighters / illuminators in any form, liquid, powder etc. And I find that highlighters echances the appearance of your pores and little bumps and stuff. No 7 illuminator was no exception, unfortunately. It's definitely more subtle and less frosty when compared to Benefit's High Beam.
The packaging makes the application worse, the bristles of the brush is stiff and it's not good for the delicate skin of the face. Between uses, the product inside the brush will dry and clog which then squeezing out new product becomes difficult.
You can find No7 Skin Illuminator at target.com in the US and at boots.com in the UK and Europe.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter Review and Swatches

(8,5g/0,3oz. - 24USD) This was my first ever purchase from the Balm Cosmetics, I'm very pleased with it and looking forward to trying more from them. I just don't like their packaging, they look childish and cheap to me. I mostly use this as an eyeshadow but you can use it as a face luminizer, just use a very light hand when putting on the face because it can look too overpowering. When used lightly it gives a nice warm sheen to face, almost wet looking. If you apply it heavily, for example to your eyes the color looks like a pearly pale beige.

Benefit Cosmetics Moon Beam Review and Swatches

(13ml/0,45floz - 24USD) Moon Beam gives iridescent gold and peachy sheen to your face which is so not a highlighter for my skin tone because of that peachy almost orangey sheen. If you have medium or lighter skin tone it would work perfectly as a blush and if you are darker than that , then it would work as an illuminator or highlighter. Has same consistency as High Beam, not too thick not too flowy and at the same time it dries too quickly which makes it hard to blend.

Benefit Cosmetics High Beam Review and Swatches

(13ml/0,45floz - 24USD) High Beam is a very popular highlighter, gives pinkish glow , a touch of radiance to your face. You really don't need much, and if you do apply too much it looks cakey. I find it hard to use or to make it even on both sides, this is because it dries too fast and so it does not blend easily. I don't find myself reaching for it but I don't regret buying it either.

MAC Cream Color Base in Shell Review and Swatches

(0,12oz./3,2g) Cream color bases from MAC are multi-purpose products but I encourage you not to use them on your eyes or they will crease in 5 minutes. They come in 11 different variety of shades and finishes. And MAC sometimes promotes different colors in their collections. They are 16,50USD.
Shell is a cool toned rosey champagne color, has a frost finish, gives you this sexy wet look. But when applied too much it will look too frosty, that's what I wanted to show you in the first swatch.
